JAZZ TECHNIQUE
Our ever popular Jazz Technique aims to further dancers training, focusing on dancing for fun, fitness and self improvement.
It is aimed at people with previous dance experience- whether you've danced throughout your childhood and are wanting to reintroduce yourself back to the dance world or whether you are a dancer working professionally in the industry wanting to maintain technique- we will accommodate to your needs.
It is ideal for dancers just wanting to dance without the added extra costs of shows and examinations.
Mondays and Wednesdays - 7:20pm – 8:20pm
SASS & HEELS
Sass & Heels embraces nothing but female empowerment and girl power!
A brand new routine is learnt each week aiming to increase confidence of walking and dancing in heels whilst bringing out your inner sass to a playlist of all your favourite diva hits!
Grab your girls, bring your heels and get ready to strut your stuff in the class with the ultimate girl gang vibes! Guaranteed to kick those midweek blues and leave you feeling good and oozing with confidence!
Wednesdays - 8:30pm – 9:20pm
Life Drawing with John King
Learn new skills and techniques in these tutored life drawing sessions, with artist John King. The sessions are held in ‘The Studio’ room at West Studios on the first Thursday of the month.
The next classes are January 12th, February 2nd March 2nd.

Come visit us! Our Gallery/reception is a warm space and everyone is welcome. Arrange to meet some friends, bring a book, your laptop, or an activity. Hot drinks are available to purchase.
Within our shop we have a great range of cards and gifts, all made by local artists and businesses and our gallery space has a new exhibition up each month.
We recommend calling a head of your visit as we sometimes have to close on short notice due to other events and hires taking place in the centre.

But you can’t keep a group of strong, determined women down for long …Join members of North Derbyshire WASPI on a rollercoaster of a ride in their quest for pension justice.

I Would Do Anything For Laughs - I Won’t Do That!
An improvised comedy evening themed around Valentines Day! An evening of fast paced improvised comedy.
Creating scenes with help from the audience. General Admission - £6. Student Tickets - £4.
This show will be at the Studio Theatre. Doors open at 6.45pm, with the show starting at 7pm.

West Studios tenant Dave Elsom of Sombrero Printmaking teaches lino printing, collagraphs, gelli plate printing and other types of printmaking.
