Extraordinary Women is an exhibition by Chesterfield Museum telling the amazing stories of local women, presented in partnership with Derbyshire LGBT+. The exhibition also feature ‘If The Shoe Fits’, original artworks created by Chesterfield College Art and Design students.
Available to view at West Studios Wednesday to Saturday 11am - 3pm from Friday 21st February to Thursday 27th March.

Codebreaking and Morse Code with Micro:bits. A workshop in partnership with Kakou.
Saturday 15th March, 12pm - 2.30pm
Learn how to code Micro:bits to send and receive coded messages, just like WW2 codebreakers, combining history, programming, and electronics in a fun and engaging environment

International Women’s Day talk: Teresa Waldron, CEO Deaf-initely Women
Teresa Waldron has been awarded the Outstanding Female Disability Champion Award 2024 at the Women’s Awards East Midlands. The award celebrates Teresa’s dedication and her tireless work to ensure inclusivity and support for all Ddeaf, Ddeafblind, and hard-of-hearing women and her determination and leadership in making a lasting impact on deaf people's lives. Teresa, who has a deafblind condition herself, will be talking to us about her experiences and how she now works tirelessly to inspire other women.
