The Young Contemporaries are a collective originating from Chesterfield College students and West Studios Start Up Tenants. They come together to plan, curate and set up their own professional contemporary exhibition held at West Studios.
Young Contemporaries 2022
The Young Contemporaries project was run as a competition within Chesterfield College’s Art & Design department in 2022. 30 Students entered the competition and were given 8 weeks to create a piece of work around the theme of ‘Stack’. You can find out more about the 2022 Young Contemporaries in this blog post.
Young Cotemporaries 2020
The young contemporaries were unable to hold their exhibition in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We put together this blog post to show some of the amazing work that was created.
