This year’s competition ties in with Creativity Pays, a campaign to promote the importance and influence of the creative industries locally in response to the hard times the industry has faced over the past year.
Everything you need to know about the rules of the competition and how to enter are below.
The brief:
Create a piece of art which reflects your thoughts, feelings or observations on the theme of
‘The power of creativity.’
Please make sure you have read and understood the competition rules below before entering the competition.
Competition Categories:
Photography
Visual Arts (painting, illustration, collage, sculpture)
Age Group Categories:
Age 8 to 11
Age 12 to 14
Age 15 to 18
Competition Category Specifications:
All entries must be inspired by the open brief of ‘The power of creativity’.
Photography
One digital photo per entrant, uploaded/submitted as per guidelines given above. Entries should follow the open creative brief above. Files must be hi-res and not in a Microsoft Word document.
Visual Art
Create a piece of visual art that you think reflects the above open creative brief. This could take the form of an illustration, painting, sculpture or collage.
