Introducing our new logo!
August 2020 will mark our sixth birthday! That's six whole years of nurturing creative businesses & artists. It doesn't seem that long ago since we welcomed the first set of businesses into the building (some of which are still with us today!).
In that time we have gone from a stand-alone department of Chesterfield College to working closely with various curriculum and support areas. This has enabled us to hire out more areas of the college, such as the studio-theatre, print room & photography studio to local artists & creative businesses and develop opportunities like our 'Young Contemporaries' programme.
To mark our sixth birthday and as a visual representation of our expanding offer we decided it was time to update our logo. With the new logo we're celebrating the continued development of West Studios to enable us to support our developing clients, customers, students & creative network.
Studio Spaces Available
We have various spaces available for rent from September for artists & creative businesses. Spaces suitable for businesses with 1-4 people. Prices start from £70PCM. Get in touch now to arrange a viewing or to secure a space.

'Voyage of Discovery' an Arts Award programme from Junction Arts
Are you looking for a free, fun, unique and educational activity to do with your children at home? Arts Award is a range of qualifications that are designed for young people ages 5 to 25. Arts Award is a great way to inspire young people to grow their arts and leadership talents: it’s creative, valuable and accessible.
Junction Arts has created this online Arts Award so that young people can complete this award from home.

'The Art of Letter Writing' with Junction Arts
Welcome to The Art of Letter Writing, an online project to celebrate the unique relationships we make with each other by writing and receiving letters.
We will look at the art of letter writing, the importance of historical letters and illuminated lettering. Throughout each section we will discuss a topic and then you will be guided through an activity that will encourage you to think, write and create.
This project has been specially created to go online and anyone can take part. Whilst we’re physically distancing, what better time than now to connect with family and friends?

New Virtual Tenant - Jessica Woodhouse
